Estefanía García Esteve is a psychologist, a multidisciplinary artist and independent scholar. She holds a Master's degree in Digital Marketing and Communication, UX Design and Frontend Developer. Her areas of interest focus on arts based research, cultural studies, metal studies and gender studies from a psychological and critical perspective. She has been part of the participatory research project Breakthrough Ritual on gender barriers in metal music, as well as multiple artistic projects related to metal music. Currently developing a research through autoethnographic methodology on the Rockin' Ladies, an activist artistic project that promotes the participation and visibility of women in the Spanish metal scene. She is a performer, vocalist and vocal coach specialising in extreme registers with a blues soul. Her musical works include those for [IN MUTE] and Olmitya. She also leads, together with her colleagues, the Rockin' Ladies Association, MiraT BRCA Association, Ecolectivo SAB and is involved in animal protection activism through Oasis Felino and SVPAP.
